Alessi 9-Inch Wine Cooler Bucket

Designed to contain and cool two bottles up to the neck, the wine cooler offers much more than it appears. Designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1979, the bucket is crafted of 18/10 stainless steel, with a thicker bottom and edge to prevent denting. The handle design has been meticulously honed to ensure a perfect grip with a single hand. Knowing there are four basic shapes most common for wine bottles, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhine, and Champagne, Sottsass designed this cooler to hold two Bordeaux, two Burgundy, or two Champagne bottles. A taller cooler was designed to hold two Rhine bottles or a single Magnum.
